Dealing with Doubt – How will you Respond?
Wednesday, March 9, 2022 7:00 pm
Holy Family Parish Center
Lincoln Street, Essex Vermont
Those who question the existence of God or Jesus’ divinity typically come up with scores of wide-ranging questions, criticisms and hypothetical possibilities. If, like most parents, you have never heard them, thought about them, or sought informed answers to them, you might one day find yourself feeling foolish, uninformed or worse. You may even feel that you have been duped and think Christianity is a hoax. Remember, Jesus challenges us to love Him with our heart, soul, and our mind. How would your teen or young adult respond to common challenges to Christianity? As important, how would you respond?
"One of my daughters went off to college and was gtiven a pamphlet explaining "10 Reasons Why the Catholic Church is Wrong." She read it adn leeft the Church forever. That was it."

Comments about Joe Blanchette and his Presentations
His several talks, titled Dealing with Doubts about God: Helping our Youth Sustain their Faith, are well-researched, effectively presented, and were well-received by the dozens of parents and grandparents in attendance. Youth abandonment of their Christian faith is an epidemic that we must address. I strongly urge pastors and religious education leaders to invite Joe to speak to your church community.” Monsignor Richard G. Lavalley, Pastor, St. Francis Xavier Parish, Winooski, VT
“I recently attended some sessions by Joseph Blanchette about our young generation turning away from religion and what could be done. Never have I heard such clear, concise and persuasive arguments about the resurrection of Christ and some possible approaches to engage with persons who are having doubts about their faith. His presentations are animated, logical, spiked with personal anecdotes and humor, and loaded with historical references. Anyone would enjoy and benefit from one his presentations.” Gerry Tetreault, Bristol, VT.
